Floyd VanLaningham

     In no time, Floyd was playing the night clubs and local bars and events opening up shows for many Famous Artists like Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Travis Tritt, Tim Mcgraw, Alan Jackson, David Frizzell, Chicago, Darryll Worley, Tracy Lawrence, Hal Ketchum, and Marty Raybon.
     Over the years, Floyd has developed quite a unique writing and singing style that has led him to record 5 albums titled "Six Good Reasons", "Nice Guys Finish Last", "Here I am Again", "I'm All Country", and "Tequila Sunset". Three of these Cd's being recorded in Nashville and the latest being recorded while on tour in Japan. Floyd has released several songs to Country music radio with much success and In March of 2007 Floyd reached number 2 with his original song "No Grave For The Flowers" on the Inspirational charts. The song was broadcasted on WSM Nashville's  and 150 ather stations for 13 consecutive weeks.  Floyd Has recorded two music videos and his songs have been used in several films, one being "Alan Autry's" film "Forgiven" which has been recently distributed worldwide in over 10,000 retailers. He has also apeared in many American magazines including two nationally distributed Japanese magazines. 
     Floyd lived in Nashville for a number of Years while touring the USA and overseas for our United States service men and women.  Floyd has devoted most of the last seven years to playing multiple AFE tours for our American troops overseas in places like Japan, Korea, Guam, Singapore, Diego Garcia and the Marshall Islands. He loves the USA and especially the United States service men and women who have dedicated thier lives to keep us all safe.
